Commendation and Scholarship Award Ceremony for the Academic Year 2023-2024

On the morning of November 8th, 2023, at the E501 hall, Campus 3 of Lac Hong University, the Faculty of Oriental Studies organized the Commendation and Scholarship Award Ceremony for the academic year 2023 - 2024. Attending the ceremony were Dr. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector of Lac Hong University, MA. Nguyen Trong Vinh - Head of Academic Affairs Department, Dr. Nguyen Huu Nghi - Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies. There was also the presence of faculty heads, subject heads, visiting lecturers, officials, lecturers, staff of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, and nearly 200 students majoring in Japanese Studies, Korean Studies, Chinese Language.

At the ceremony, the Faculty commended 28 individuals and student groups of the majors who have won prizes in competitions such as Debate Contest, Oriental Colors Contest in Dong Nai province, Chinese Language Bridge, etc. In addition, in the academic year 2023-2024, the university has awarded 165 scholarships to students of cohorts 20, 21 and 22 of Oriental Studies, including: merit-based scholarships; affiliation and educational cooperation scholarships; science and technology scholarships; regional scholarships; first-rank scholarships; outstanding youth leader scholarships; class monitor scholarships, etc.

The ceremony aimed to encourage and motivate students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies who have achieved good and excellent academic performance; students who have won prizes in extracurricular competitions.
