Cooperation meeting between LHU and Consortium of Universities and Local Communities in Shizuoka

On November 24, 2023, LHU warmly welcomed and worked with a delegation from the Consortium of Universities and Local Communities in Shizuoka, Japan.

The delegation was represented by Ms. Watanabe Noriko - Project Director of the Consortium; Mr. Yoshizoe Katsuhiro - Head of Department of Student Support, Shizuoka Sangyou University Administrative Office; Mr. Masuda Junichi - Member; and Ms. Ngo Thi Bich Hanh - Interpreter.

Welcoming the delegation was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Lam – Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Huu Nghi - Dean of Faculty of Oriental Studies; Hoang Tien Dung, MA – Deputy Head of Office of International Affairs; Nguyen Thi Nhu Thuong, MA – Program Head of Japanese Studies; lecturers of the Department of Japanese Studies and related staff.

The meeting between the two sides

Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan consists of 23 municipalities with its administrative center as Shizuoka. It is one of the two prefectures with Japan's iconic Mount Fuji. 

Earlier in February 2023, the Consortium of Universities and Local Communities in Shizuoka visited and worked with the University.

During the working session, the two sides exchanged and discussed cooperation opportunities including study abroad and internship programs for LHU students in Japan.
