On November 25 afternoon, the Department of Korean Studies under the Faculty of Oriental Studies successfully organized the final round of the 9th Korean Eloquence Contest 2023.
The Contest aims to create a playground for Korean Studies majors to improve their speaking ability, to learn about Korean culture, country and people; also highlight the Vietnam-Korea friendship on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of Vietnam - Korea diplomatic ties.
Attendees of the finale were experienced lecturers and Korean experts as the Board of Judges, finalists and many students majoring in Korean Studies.

The qualifying round of the Contest taking place from September 10 to November 11, attracted more than 50 contestants at all levels, from which the 10 best contestants were selected for the final round.
At the finale, the contestants experienced two sections: presentation and Q&A session.
Final results: the First prize (Elementary level) went to contestant Duong Huynh Bao Tran from class 22DH113 and the First prize (Intermediate level) went to contestant Nguyen Huynh My Tam from class 21DH111. Bao Tran and My Tam also received study abroad trips to Korea for 6 months and one year, respectively.
