At 08:00 a.m on November 25, 2023, the Department of Korean Studies under the Faculty of Oriental Studies successfully organized a workshop themed "Essential soft skills for employees and Korean corporate culture" at Hall A301, Campus 1, LHU.

The workshop was attended by distinguished speakers including Ms. Jenny Thao Nguyen - HR Director of Stanley Black & Decker Vietnam Company - Training Director of QTSer Company; Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan - General Director of Hoya Lens Company; Ms. Do Thi Phuong - Deputy Head of Bancassurance Department, VNI Southeast Aviation Insurance Company; Mr. Nguyen Vu Kinh Kha - Training Director of Source Skills Company; and Mr. Duong Cam Bau - Director of Source Skills Company.
From LHU, there were Dr. Nguyen Huu Nghi - Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies; Ms. Do Thi Thuy - Program Head of the Department of Korean Studies; lecturers and more than 150 students majoring in Korean Studies.

During the workshop, the students were provided with necessary soft skills in the workplace such as attitude, communication, openness, interaction, problem-solving, flexibility/adaptability, ...The speakers also respectively shared their own stories and precious experience, and answered all questions related to requirements, Korean labor market and corporate culture,...
The workshop greatly helped the students equip more skills, knowledge, experience, and preparations for their future jobs after graduation. More similar workshops are expected to be held in the coming time.
