Cultural exchange program between Dong Nai province and Gyeongnam province

In order to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea (December 22, 1992 - 2022) and to strengthen the close friendship between the two sides, LHU on May 23 in cooperation with Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Representative Office of Gyeongnam Province in Ho Chi Minh City organized a cultural exchange program between Dong Nai province and Gyeongnam province.

The program saw the presence of Mr. Lee Jeong Man - Head of Representative Office of Gyeongnam province in HCM City and Ms. Huynh Thi Ngoc Hien - Head of Department; Ms. Nguyen Thi Mong Binh - Deputy Director of Department of Culture, Sports & Tourism; Ms. Do Thi Hoa Binh - Deputy Head of the Social Culture Department, Dong Nai Province People's Council; DSc. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector of LHU; Dr. Vo Van Ly - Head of Student Affairs Department of Dong Nai University, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thai - Secretary of the Youth Union of Dong Nai University of Technology; representatives of departments of Dong Nai province, lecturers and more than 200 students from LHU, Dong Nai University of Technology and Dong Nai University.

Speaking at the program, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Thi Mong Binh emphasized that the relations between Vietnam and Korea, especially the friendly relationship between Dong Nai province and Gyeongnam province had been increasingly consolidated and constantly developing in many fields of economy - culture. Currently, Korea is one of the leading countries in the number of businesses investing in Dong Nai.

In addition, the two provinces of Dong Nai and Gyeongnam in recent years have always been paid great attention by their leaders and constantly deepened this relationship through many cultural, educational, and cooperative exchange activities,... The cultural exchange activity between the two provinces is one of the first activities of Dong Nai towards celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Korea relationship.

At the cultural exchange program, students of the three universities actively participated in art contests with many genres such as: dancing, singing Vietnamese or Korean music, modern dance, K-POP... , showing love for the motherland and the country and praising the friendly relationship between Vietnam - Korea. They also had the opportunity to learn more about the culture, history and tourism of Dong Nai province, Vietnam and Gyeongnam province, Korea through the extremely exciting KHOOT contest.
