Tourism and Travel Management Major: Signing Cooperative Development Agreements - The worry about internship placement is no longer a concern

At 9:00 on April 26, 2022, a very special event took place, the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between Lac Hong University and various businesses.

On the side of Lac Hong University:

• Mr. Nguyễn Văn Tân, PhD - Head of AIE;
• Ms. Tạ Thị Thanh Hương, MSc – Deputy Head of AIE;
• Mr. Vũ Đức Cường, MSc - Head of Tourism Operations and Guidance Department;
• Mr. Phan Văn Hải, MSc - Head of Tourism Management Department;
• Mr. Võ Thái Sinh - Business Relations Department of AIE;
• Mr. Nguyễn Văn Trung, PhD - Director of Public Relations and Admissions Center;
• Mr. Nguyễn Hải Quân, MSc - Head of Business Relations and Student Support Department.

On the side of GOLDEN PALACE Restaurant:

• Mr. Nguyễn Mạnh Thắng - General Director of Golden Palace - Conference and Wedding Center, Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province Along with esteemed teachers, lecturers, department staff, Business Relations and Student Support Department of Lac Hong University, and over 80 students majoring in Tourism Management and Travel, Department of International Economics and Business were present at the event.

At the signing ceremony, various businesses and units closely related to the Tourism and Travel Management Industry gathered, including Golden Palace - Conference and Wedding Center, located in Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province.

During the signing ceremony, both parties agreed on some important points and proceeded to build a long-lasting, close relationship to develop together.

Some essential points to mention include: Annually, responsible for organizing field trips for third and fourth-year students, arranging schedules, assigning teachers to guide students on visits and learning about the actual situation at the restaurant's business. Receive information and help the restaurant post job recruitment information on the university's job recruitment page, post on the university's job page, send to fourth-year students, and alumni of Lac Hong University. Collaborate with the restaurant to organize seminars on specialized topics in science and technology or corporate culture at the university's base when the restaurant has a need. Support and collaborate with the university in applied scientific research. Promote the brand and reputation with Lac Hong University through the website and other specific programs. Support scholarships for poor students who excel academically or in other forms depending on the restaurant.

Dr. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector of the university, represented the university to express gratitude at the ceremony. The act of giving flowers and thank-you letters was also carried out to show appreciation for the sentiments that Golden Palace has shown towards Lac Hong University. Additionally, the restaurant reciprocated the deep sentiments by sending a bouquet of fresh, vibrant flowers to the university as a token of gratitude and to express mutual appreciation.
