On the afternoon of August 18th, 2023, at the conference room of Campus 1, the Chinese Language Department in coordination with the Vietnamese Studies Department organized the MOU signing ceremony with Chi Culture Joint Stock Company - Chibooks.
Attending were Dr. Lam Thanh Hien – President of Lac Hong University; Dr. Huynh Cao Tuan – Director of Information and Documentation; Dr. Nguyen Huu Nghia - Dean of Oriental Studies Faculty; MA. Phan The Anh – Head of Chinese Language Department; MA. Luong Van Huy – Head of Chinese Language Division; Ms. Do Thi Kim Oanh – Lecturer of Vietnamese Studies Department along with all lecturers of the Chinese Language Department and Vietnamese Studies Department.
Representing Chi Culture Joint Stock Company were Ms. Nguyen Le Chi - Founder and CEO of Chibooks and Ms. Phung Thanh Binh An - Communications Officer of Chibooks.
In his speech at the signing ceremony, Dr. Lam Thanh Hien expressed his gratitude to Chi Culture - Chibooks Company for visiting, cooperating and donating 800 books to the University Library. At the same time, Dr. Lam Thanh Hien also expected more cooperation between the University and Chi Culture Joint Stock Company in the future.
Mr. Phan The Anh - Head of Chinese Language Department stated at the signing ceremony: "Through this signing, the two sides will have many opportunities to exchange and learn from each other in the future, jointly implementing the reading culture program to be widely disseminated among students. At the same time, both sides also agreed to cooperate on Chinese language seminars and study abroad programs for Chinese language students."
Ms. Nguyen Le Chi also expressed her delight at cooperating with Lac Hong University. In addition, she also shared: "With the goal of bringing books closer to young people in general and Lac Hong students in particular, through this book donation, Chibooks hopes to contribute to helping students love reading more and encourage them to go to the University Library. At the same time, Chibooks will introduce authors to exchange and share with students about reading culture in various fields, especially culture - literature, contributing to nurturing the spiritual life for students." Along with that, Ms. Nguyen Le Chi expressed her wish that the cooperation program with the university will expand more in the future, besides reading and entertainment, both sides will have more academic cooperation. The ceremony was successfully concluded with many promises to grow together in the future!
