Members of the LH-Robot Fight team from LHU along other representative teams of Vietnam will participate in esports tournaments at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou (China) starting from November 6 - 11.
According to the invitation from the Asian Electronic Sports Federation (AESF), the Vietnamese representative teams consists of 18 members, including 17 athletes from the VIRESA team (Vietnam Recreational and Electronic Sport Association) and the LH-Robot Fight team from LHU, competing at the AIES Robot Sports (robot competition) and the AIES XR Sports (virtual reality sports).
The LH-Robot Fight team will represent Vietnam at the AIES Robot Sports, while the VIRESA team competes at the AIES XR Sports. They will compete with opponents from China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

The AIES XR Sports tournament will bring players into a virtual reality world, combined with physical activities to compete for medals. Meanwhile, AIES Robot Sports will witness fierce competition between players through the use of robots for competitive matches.
As new disciplines for esports lovers, the tournaments promise to bring a completely new experience compared to other esports by the combination of intelligence and movements.
This time, the LHU team will play as gamers, promising to bring the audience unique and creative performances on the virtual reality stage.
LH-Robot Fight team set off for Hangzhou
This event has reflected the rapid growth and popularity of this new type of sport among today’s youth. At the recent ASIAD 19 in Hangzhou, esports was firstly included as an official event.
