LHU's youngest PhD holder appointed Dean of Faculty of Postgraduate Studies

On November 3, 2023, LHU held a ceremony to announce the decision to appoint the Dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies.

At the ceremony, Rector Lam Thanh Hien presented the decision to appoint the Dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies to Dr. Lu Phi Nga. She is currently the youngest PhD holder and leader of LHU.

In his congratulation speech, Rector Lam Thanh Hien hoped and believed with the University Management Board’s trust, Ms. Nga and her Faculty would promote the spirit of solidarity to perform well the assigned tasks, and to achieve more achievements, contributing to the development of the University.

May 2022 - October 2023: Vice Dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies

Awards and achievements:

* Certificate of Merit for instructing students to win the best article award at the 30th Lac Hong Science and Technology Festival held on June 2018;

* Certificate of Merit for outstanding achievements in the 5-year emulation movement from 2014 -2019;

* Certificate of Merit for having many scientific articles published in specialized journals and conference proceedings in the 2018-2019 academic year;

* Title "Talented Woman 2022" awarded by the Dong Nai Provincial Intellectual Women's Association;

* Title "Distinguished Young Teachers of Dong Nai Province 2022" awarded by the Executive Committee of Dong Nai Province Youth Union;

* Certificate of Merit for outstanding achievements in implementing the emulation movement "Promoting innovation and creativity in management, teaching and learning" in the 2021-2022 academic of the Ministry of Education and Training;

* 4th Prize at the Annual Initiative Conference in the 2022-2023 academic year.
