LHU to open Economic Law major

Experiencing more than 17 years of establishment and development, LHU has been upgrading training programs in quality and quantity, meeting the social need for highly qualified human resources. Specifically the University has always paid high attention to constructing and developing new majors, creating diversify and updating academic training. That is the reason LHU adds Economic Law into its training program.

Necessity of Economic Law in undergraduate program

With the diversified growth of current economy, jobs related to Law major are more necessary. Presently, Economic Law is considered as a hot major with high recruitment need. Therefore, it is chosen by many students nowadays. This major can bring students so many good things such as nimble and flexible abilities, wide knowledge, critic thought, interesting jobs, high income and respect from the society as well.

Grasping society's common trend, Lac Hong University has decided to open Economic Law major with Groups A, A1 and D1 entrance examination. The aim of the University is to become a prestigious training unit in Southeast region, providing the society with legal experts full of firm knowledge and skills of business law.

Training processes

To produce high quality legal human resources meeting social needs, Lac Hong University has prepared facilities, training program and teaching staff thoroughly and scientifically. It has constructed a training program based on frame program promulgated by the Ministry of Education and Training. The training time lasts four years. The program equips students with two contents. The first one is transmitting knowledge such as assessing, analyzing, building and perfecting legal institutions, serving economic development and integration. Students will be provided knowledge of the role of legal institutions for development, the role of company law, contract law, intellectual property law, business dispute solving, international business law, Vietnamese law,....The second is training skills, attitude to provide legal services satisfying market economy request. With this aspect, learners will practice skills of research, law analysis, legal risk analysis, negotiation skill, contract drafting, legal document drafting, legal skills relevant to administration, company management, dispute problem solving,... In addition, the University has gathered highly qualified teaching staff. Besides permanent lecturers, the University has closely cooperated with big regional universities to invited experienced and noted lecturers to teach Economic Law.

Prospective Economic Law Bachelors

After graduation, Bachelors of Art in Economic Law can perform work at enterprises, people's courts, commercial referee center or legal consulting services. In addition, graduates can get higher education to become lawyers and practice as a lawyer. The University not only transfers legal knowledge and skills but also pays high stress on training good morality and attitude to the society and community.

With high demand for economic law human resources in Dong Nai and nearby provinces, Economic Law is a right choice for students who love law branch. According to a survey of legal human resources need and uses of businesses in Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Ho Chi Minh city, with 71 industrial zones, thousands of invested projects and enterprises at all levels need about 10,000 legal officers to work at their legal departments. This demand will be a bright opportunity so that students can find suitable jobs as well as develop their competence.

The motto of the University is to train highly qualified human resources according to social needs. Therefore, it still will be a reliable training unit for parents and candidates across the country.
