On December 21 morning, 2023, a delegation of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST) visited and worked with LHU.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Lam - Vice Rector; Dr. Le Phuong Truong – Head of Office of Educational Testing and Q.A; Dr. Pham Van Toan - Dean of Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics; MSc. Van Dinh Vy Phuong – Dean of Faculty of Information Technology; Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh, M.A - Head of Office of International Affairs; Hoang Tien Dung, M.A - Deputy Head of Office of International Affairs; and related staff warmly welcomed the delegation.

From the STUST's side, there were Dr. Te-Kuang Chou – Vice President cum Head of Office of International Affairs; Dr. Jing-Jo Tang – Deputy Head of Office of International Affairs; Ms. Kim Chang - Coordinator and Mr. Nguyen Duc Vuong - Staff of Office of International Affairs.
STUST was founded in 1969 with its mission to pursue academic excellence in both technological fields and in the humanities. It is one of the best universities in Taiwan especially in Engineering - Technology with about 18,000 enrolled students. STUST includes 4 colleges: College of Engineering, College of Business, College of Digital Design, and College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
STUST has partnered with LHU since 2013 through Master's scholarship programs in Economics and Engineering and PhD scholarships in Engineering for LHU lecturers and students.
During the working session, the two universities discussed cooperation opportunities including 2+2, 3+1 programs in Engineering; Master's scholarships and student exchange programs.
