Workshop "Car trends in the future"

On November 10, 2023, students majoring in Automotive Engineering Technology of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Takehiko Masuda - CEO of Esutech Company through a workshop "Car trends in the future".

The workshop was also attended by Mr. Le Hai Long - Design Director of Esutech Co.; DSc. Pham Van Toan - Dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics; lecturers and more than 200 students.

At the workshop, the students were provided with useful information about stages to develop a new car line, and important notes in design processes. They also learned that a car looks simple but needs more than 30,000 different parts to run smoothly.

According to Mr. Masuda, the details are formed from drawings, testing models and finally the finished product. The car company's engineers have had to experience many stages of PDCA market analysis, user analysis to concretize their ideas into a perfect product.

Also, Mr. Le Hai Long - Design Director of Esutech revealed that one of the two design software that big car companies often use is CATIA. It is the software that most Automotive Engineering Technology majors use fluently while at university.

There was also a Q&A session between the participants and the speakers. During the workshop, the students were excited to ask many questions to understand more knowledge about automotive design and manufacturing.

At the end of the program, leaders of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics extended heartfelt thanks to Mr. Takehiko Masuda and his colleagues for sharing useful knowledge with students majoring in Automotive Engineering Technology.
