The Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KoCham) on October 2 awarded 4 scholarships each worth 5 million VND to four students of LHU.
KoCham's scholarship is given to second and third-year students majoring in Korean Studies. The scholarship fund aims to encourage and help students with difficult circumstances who are studying Korean Studies in universities and colleges in Vietnam including LHU.
The four students receiving KoCham's scholarships are Pham Thi Thanh Nhan (class 20DH112); Nguyen Thi Kieu Uyen (class 20DH113); Pham Thi Tuyet Trinh (class 21DH111) and Nguyen Thi Ngoc Quyen (class 21DH113).
KoCham established in 2003 is a non-profit organization representing more than 5,000 Korean businesses investing in Central and Southern Vietnam. KoCham has many activities to call on Korean businesses to contribute to charity funds to support difficult situations. It has established a Scholarship Fund for Korean Studies majors since 2018.
