On September 22, the Faculty of Food Science and Technology (FST) and the Faculty of Civil Engineering jointly held a Food Festival to raise funds to help underprivileged, disadvantaged and disabled children.
The FST's food festival is an annual event which aims to raise funds for disabled and disadvantaged children, create a playground for its students to show their cooking passion and skills and offer exchange opportunities among students.

The event attracted the active participation of many lecturers and students from other faculties. The participants not only enjoyed delicious food but also joined in many fun games and activities. They had chances to meet, chat, share experiences,... with each other.

Cooking teams from the two faculties brought the food fair many attractive dishes and drinks with reasonable prices.
Also at the festival, the Organizers acknowledged and awarded prizes to the teams for their best food.
This year's food fair provided about 1,300 servings. All the money from the fair is contributed to charity purposes. This event not only gives students opportunities to express their passion for food but also contributes to serving the community and helping disabled and disadvantaged children.
