Representing nearly 8,000 students of LHU, Ha Thi Thu Huong - a student from Faculty of English Language attended the Asia Youth International Model United Nations (MUN) 12th Conference organized by International Global Network with the theme "Preventing The World From Global Threats", simulated with 5 councils namely WHO, INTERPOL, UNICEF, IMF and UNESCO. The conference takes place from 12th - 15th of August, 2023 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Model United Nations, also known as model UN or MUN, is an educational simulation in which students learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. At a MUN conference, participants work as the representatives of countries to discuss and decide on world issues with other delegates from around the world.
The conference is a platform for youths to share perspectives and opinions in solving world issues. Besides, along with training sessions and document sharing, AYI MUN will help inexperienced young people to learn, enhance knowledge and soft skills, make friends with other delegates from 39 countries.

MUN is held annually around the world, usually aimed at students and pupils.
