On February 16 morning, representatives from National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Taiwan (YunTech) visited and worked with LHU.
Representatives from YunTech were Dr. Pan Wei-Hwa – Head of Office of International Affairs; Dr. Pan Lee-Yun – Head of College of Management; Dr. Hsiao Bo – Head of Information Technology Department, Ms. Ruby - Senior Assistant, Office of International Affairs and Vietnamese PhD Students. Representatives from LHU, including MA. Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh - Head of the Office of International Affairs cum Vice Dean of Faculty of Oriental Studies; MA. Hoang Tien Dung – Deputy Head of the Office of International Affairs, MA. Ta Thi Thanh Huong - Vice Dean of Faculty of Administration - International Economics; MSc. Nguyen Minh Son - Vice Dean of Faculty of Information Technology and related staff welcomed and worked with the delegation.
The two sides exchanged cooperation contents
As a member of the “Taiwan National Universities” system, YunTech is one of the top public universities, and accredited by Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and Institute of Engineering Education Taiwan (IEET). Founded in 1991, Yuntech is ranked in the Top best universities that are aged 50 years or under according to Good Asian Young University Rankings 2018, and ranked in the Top 5% of the best universities for engineering in Taiwan.
At the meeting, YunTech and LHU exchanged 2+2, 3+2 cooperation programs and student and faculty exchange programs. Through friendly negotiations and mutually beneficial cooperation, the two sides have agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding on the student exchange program. Each year, Yuntech will provide scholarships for students of LHU (free tuition and dormitory). Also, the two sides expressed the student exchange program between the two sides will be implemented soon in the summer of 2023, concurrently expected to carry out more joint cooperation programs,...
