LHU competes at 2017 Vietnam Robocon's Southern regional qualifying round

In the morning of April 7, LHU robot teams and nearly 150 fans gathered early at Ho Xuan Huong Sports Club in district 3, HCM City to attend the opening program and qualifying rounds of 2017 Vietnam Robocon in southern region.

The Southern regional qualifying round of 2017 Robocon Vietnam was kicked off at Ho Xuan Huong Sports Club in HCM City this morning.

This year, the Southern regional qualifying round saw the participation of 23 teams from six universities and colleges including LHU, HCM City University of Technical Education, HCM City University of Technology, Tran Dai Nghia University, HCM City University of Industry and HCM City University of Natural Sciences. LHU had 6 teams competing at 6 groups.

The teams were divided into 6 groups to select 8 best teams for the final round of the 2017 Vietnam Robocon which will be held at Ninh Binh province's Sports Center in May.

In addition, the winner of the Robot Competition will represent Vietnam to participate in the 2017 ABU Asian-Pacific Robot Contest themed "The Landing Disc" which will be organized in Tokyo, Japan in August.
