38th blood donation program to he held

In the morning of March 30, LHU Youth Union - Student Association in cooperation with Dong Nai province’s Red Cross Association and Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Center held the 38th humanitarian blood donation program at the campus 3. The blood donation program lies in a series of activities in order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of LHU establishment (1997 – 2017).

The blood program is one of the annual activities of LHU Youth Union - Student Association. It is also a meaningful occasion for the University's teachers, staff and students to show their good deed for the community, contributing to providing blood sources to save people's lives.

This is the first turn in 2017 LHU Youth Union - Student Association organized the blood donation program. Earlier in 2016, more than 650 units of blood were collected and provided to hospitals.

Responding enthusiastically, more than 300 volunteers have signed up for this program. As a result, 213 units of blood were collected at the event.

Registered volunteers were checked health carefully before donating their blood.
