Ceremony to commemorate teachers

In the morning of February 21, the third day of Tet, a solemn ceremony was held at Tran Bien Temple of Literature to commemorate and honor predecessors and devoted teachers.  The annual event is co-organized by Bien Hoa city People’s Committee, Dong Nai Department of Education and Training and Temple of Literature Center.

Rector Do Huu Tai and provincial leadership burnt incense at Tran Bien Temple of Literature.

The ceremony was attended by provincial Management Board, representatives from departments, agencies, Lac Hong University delegation including Secretary of the Party Committee - Chairman of Dong Nai provincial Study Encouragement Association Nguyen Trung Phuong, Rector Do Huu Tai, Vice Rector - Chairwoman of provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, Rector Consultant Le Van Hung, Secretary of  Youth Union Le Son Quang and a great number of teachers, and students at all levels.

At the ceremony, students offered flowers and burnt incense to worship cultural well-known men and honor beloved teachers.

On the occasion, the Organizing Board has awarded many scholarships to best students, excellent but poor students and honored people's teachers, meritorious teachers and typical families with three generations serving education.

The ceremony is held annually to preserve and develop the tradition of “Remembering the source when drinking water”.
