Seven teams from LHU named for National Robocon finals

In the afternoon of April 04, the regional qualifying round of Robocon Vietnam 2014 contest took place final matches at Rach Mieu Sports Centre, HCM City. As a result, 10 excellent teams have been selected to compete in the national Robocon finals which will be held from May 5 to 10, 2014 in Nha Trang city. 

The qualifier round of Robocon 2014 in the southern region, which attracted 31 teams from nine technological universities and colleges including Lac Hong University, Ho Chi Minh city University of Technical Education, Ho Chi Minh city University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh city University of Industry, Can Tho University, Ho Chi Minh city College of Industry and Trade, Tran Dai Nghia University, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province Vocational College and Vocational College No.8.

Participating in the regional round, Lac Hong University had 8 teams. Accordingly, of the 10 teams which were chosen for the final round, seven come from Lac Hong University.

At the 2013 Robocon Vietnam, Dong Nai-based Lac Hong University teams took first, second and third places at the final.

The Asia-Pacific Robot contest 2014 has the theme titled "A Salute for Parenthood". The champion of 2014 Robocon Vietnam will represent for Vietnam to take part in Asia-Pacific Robot contest 2014 held in India.
