​LHU received First Class Emulation Flag for patriotic emulation movement

In the morning of March 31, Lac Hong University delegation led by Chairman of Trade Union, Vice Rector Dr. Diep Cam was presented a solemn ceremony held by Dong Nai province People’s Committee at provincial Conference Centre to review patriotic emulation movements 2013 and sign the covenant 2014.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Phu - Deputy Department Manager, Deputy Director of Southern Representative Office of Central Emulation and Commendation Committee; Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh - Commissioner of Central Party  Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Dinh Quoc Thai - Vice Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Mr. Tran Van Tu - Commissioner of provincial Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council; representatives of 18 emulation clusters and their members.

According to provincial Emulation and Commendation Council, 2013 saw a lot of important changes in emulation and commendation nationwide. The National Assembly has passed reformed laws and completed some articles in Emulation and Commendation Laws, including emulation titles and commendation forms. The 2013's emulation theme "High consent - Excellent emulation - Fast Finish launched by Central Emulation and Commendation Committee attracted the great participation of all departments, agencies, levels and the whole people of Dong Nai province.

At the ceremony, LHU was honored to receive First Class Emulation Flag following Decision No. 801/QD by provincial People's Committee for its achievements in education and training activity. LHU was one of the two units that received First Class Emulation Flag. The other was Dong Nai Medical College.

In 2013, LHU has remarkably gained outstanding achievements namely First Prize at Vietnam Young Science Talent Award in 2012 and 2013, Champion title at Vietnam Robocon Contest in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, representative of Vietnam to take part in Asia-Pacific Robot Contest,.... and many notable achievements in Dong Nai provincial Technical Innovation Contest , National Technical Innovation Contest,...

On the occasion, 22 units were awarded First Class Emulation Flag. 16 got Second Class Emulation Flag. 5 received Third Class Emulation Flag and 60 got certificates of merit by the provincial People's Committee. In addition, at the ceremony, 5 emulation clusters were bestowed certificates of merit for their excellent achievements in cluster's activities.
