32nd blood donation program launched

Implementing Youth Union missions 2014 - 2015, in the morning of  March 26, at campus 3, Lac Hong University Youth Union - Student Association in cooperation with  Dong Nai province’s Red Cross Association and Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre launched the 32nd humanitarian blood donation program. The program was held to mark the 83 years of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - 2014) and the 15th anniversary of voluntary youth movement.

The blood program is an occasion for LHU teachers and students to show their good deed for the community, contributing to providing blood sources to save people's lives. This is the first turn in 2014 the University organized the blood donation program. Earlier in 2013, over 650 units of blood were collected and provided to hospitals.

Responding enthusiastically, more than 500 volunteers have signed up for this program. As a result, over 321 units of blood were collected at the event.

Over 321 blood units are donated.
