Meeting to celebrate Women's Day

In the morning of March 8, on the occasion of the 104th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2014), Lac Hong University’s Trade Union specially organized an informal meeting at Meeting hall A 301 to honor and congratulate women staff. The meeting was participated by Secretary of Party Committee Nguyen Trung Phuong; Rector People's Teacher Dr . Do Huu Tai; Chairman of Trade Union Dr. Diep Cam Thu - Vice Rector; Chairman of Dong Nai Union of Science and Technology Associations Meritorious Teacher Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - Vice Rector and a great number of faculty members and staff.

At the meeting, Head of the University Women Board Ho Thi Hai Yen reviewed the struggling tradition of labor women in all over the world and summarized contributions and achievements LHU women have gained.

Rector Do Huu Tai on behalf of the University Management Board congratulated LHU women.

The program also took place an informal talk and speech made by Meritorious Teacher Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan and Assoc. Prof. Dr Nguyen Thi Lien Diep on the role of women in modern society.

Representative women received flowers from the University Management Board.

Women individuals were commended at the meeting.

To close the meeting, the University Management Board praised 40 typical women for their great contributions to the development of the University and Trade Union. Through the meeting, the Organizing Board wished to help to speak highly of women's roles in education and training of LHU and speed up the movement "Good at office work, Responsible for household chores" (Gioi viec nuoc, Dam viec nha).
