LHU to hold 1st Job Fair 2014

This morning on February 27, LHU in cooperation with the Overseas Human Resources and Industry Development (HIDA) the Ministry of Economy and Trade and Industry (METI) and Japanese businesses co-organized Job Fair firstly in 2014. The event took place at room B 203 (used for reports or presentations of businesses, introducing their products and recruitment notifications) and B 305 (used for exchange program between businesses and students on recruitment needs, human resources developing plan, salary level,.... ). Attending the program was METI's Mr. Goto Yuzo - Director of Technical Cooperation Department; HIDA's Mr. Takeda Sadao - Vice Chairman; Mr. Okita Fumio and Ms. Koganemaru Miyuki - experts of HIDA; LHU's People's Teacher Dr. Do Huu Tai - Rector, Meritorious Teacher Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - Vice Rector; Lam Thanh Hien, MSc - Vice Rector. The program also attracted 13 Japanese businesses and a large number of senior students.

Job Fair has contributed to creating a bridge between top Japanese businesses and LHU students. The Fair has provided students with useful information about experience as well as interviewing skills from Japanese and Vietnamese Directors who are working at Japanese businesses in the fields of electronics, garment, mechanics, marketing, information technology,... Also, expectations and requirements of recruiters were presented at the event, helping students get a general understanding before falling in line with business environment.

In addition to HIDA's support, LHU has made all efforts to build its own brand name and find out new directions offered to students. It also boosts up training activities connected with businesses' recruitment needs in order to introduce the brand name to overseas organizations and enterprises. With the role of the leader of LHU, Rector Dr. Do Huu Tai spoke at the Job Fair that "Thanks to HIDA's great support, LHU has gained another step in its training activity. Hopefully, through this event, students of LHU will have more opportunities to learn and exchange necessary information with real recruiters. In the future, the University will make further efforts to construct and develop such a meaningful job fair for students, by the way, strengthen steadfast association between international organizations, businesses and the University."
