LHU Rector to attend "Vietnam -Taiwan Education Forum 2013"

Vietnam -Taiwan Education Forum is a meaningful opportunity for exchanging, and promoting educational cooperation between Vietnam and Taiwan. The 1st and 2nd Vietnam - Taiwan education forums were held successfully in 2010 and 2011 in Taipei and Da Nang cities, gathering over 100 universities in Vietnam and Taiwan with more than 500 delegates. This year, Vietnam - Taiwan education forum has been held in Kaohsiung city (Taiwan) from December 02 to 06 at International Conference Hall - I-Shou University. The theme of this year forum is "Cooperating in training Vietnamese talents, establishing educational cooperation programs and popularizing Chinese language teaching and TOCFL" (The Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language).

Accepting the invitation from Taiwanese Ministry of Education and President of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST), People's Teacher Dr. Do Huu Tai - Chairman of the Trustees Board - Rector of LHU and Dr. Huynh Trung Tam - Director of International Relations Department participated in the forum.

On December 04, Rector  People's Teacher Dr. Do Huu Tai and President Dr. Tai Chein signed a memorandum of understanding on training cooperation and exchanging lecturers. students, materials,... between LHU and  STUST. Hopefully, the cooperation will contribute to promoting educational exchanges between the two universities and bring more benefits for students of the two sides.
