Towards the Beloved Central Region

When hearts beat as one for our compatriots in the flood-stricken areas

Following the call for sharing and support for the people of Central Vietnam severely affected by the floods in November, the Social Work Club – Faculty of Pharmacy, Lac Hong University, received a heartfelt response from faculty members, students and benefactors.

In a short time, the program received:

- 310 kg of rice

- 45 boxes of instant noodles

- 9 boxes of milk

- Over 1,950 notebooks, 1,000 pens and rulers

- Essential medicines: fever reducers, painkillers, oral rehydration solution, medicated oil, vitamins…

- Many other items such as backpacks, clothes, canned fish, instant porridge, bottled water…

These heartfelt gifts were sent to Central Vietnam via the charity convoy of Lac Hong University, providing timely support to the people during their most difficult period.

In particular, a portion of the donated items was given by the Social Work Club of the Faculty of Pharmacy to support 31 students in the Faculty whose families were severely affected by the floods – giving them added motivation to continue their studies.

We sincerely thank all those who have accompanied and contributed to the Social Work Club of the Faculty of Pharmacy. Each gift given not only has material value, but also represents the belief that difficulties will pass, as long as we are not alone.

The "Towards the Beloved Central Region" journey has come to an end, but the spirit of compassion and community connection will continue to spread in the club's future charitable activities.
