On June 11, at the Đồng Nai Provincial Sports Center (Tan Phong Ward, Bien Hoa City), the Department of Natural Resources and Environment organized the Waste Recycling Festival with the participation of thousands of students and local residents
At the festival, the organizers set up 20 booths, divided into various areas: waste-for-gift exchange; recycled crafts workshops; exhibitions of environmental-themed paintings, photographs, and recycled products; a drawing area for children; displays of green technologies and eco-friendly products by businesses; and games and quizzes to raise awareness about the 3Rs (reduce – reuse – recycle).
In alignment with these activities, under the direction of the Board of Directors at Lac Hong University, the Faculty of Chemical and Environmental Engineering participated in the exhibition, showcasing a booth with waste recycling products and technology models created by students, such as wastewater treatment models, air pollution control models, and compost production models. These models simulate a miniature environmental treatment process, complete with features similar to real-world processes.
The recycled products and experimental models created by the students attracted a large number of visitors interested in discussing environmental topics. Additionally, they garnered the attention of leaders from the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, businesses, and HTV reporters, who conducted interviews and reported on the event.
