(FCE)The outstanding female valedictorian
With a cumulative GPA of 8.35, Le Thi Kim Chi was awarded an engineering degree and was the top female valedictorian of the Civil Engineering Technology major, Faculty of Civil Engineering. After receiving a certificate of merit, and being honoured, she said this was the first special achievement in her student time after a long time study hard at University.
She lives far away from city – Binh Thuan district, and she was not outstanding at first time. She, however, achieved the best results after 4 years in the lecture hall.
Kim Chi said that the field of study she initially registered was Business Administration at Lac Hong University. Then, she decided to study Civil Engineering Technology. Selecting the engineering major, Kim Chi determined that the curriculum was different from the economic one, with a large amount of knowledge. Therefore, in their first year of university, she encountered many difficulties. Once depressed because the study results were unexpected, thanks to the encouragement of friends and teachers in the Faculty, Kim Chi changed her study method by taking detailed notes, and then she went home to systematize for many reasons. In the second semester, when she caught up with the learning style and environment, she made her mark in many group exercises. Thanks to that, in the next semester, her academic achievement was at the top of the Faculty of Civil Engineering. It is the change that helps Chi have more motivation to study, and receive excellent scholarships for 7 consecutive years of the University.
Kim Chi has not yet graduated from college and has received job offers from construction companies in Bien Hoa, Dong Nai with an attractive salary, so now Chi has a stable job that is suitable for her future orientation.
