The MoU lays the groundwork for joint initiatives in academic training, research, and quality assurance, reflecting a shared commitment to educational innovation, sustainable development, and domestic cooperation.

The signing ceremony was attended by senior leaders and academic representatives from both institutions.

The partnership underscores the importance of resource sharing and strategic alignment in enhancing the quality of higher education. Key areas of cooperation include the implementation of output measurement software, benchmarking systems for academic and research data, community engagement practices, with the goal of enhancing higher education quality. This concrete initiative reflects both universities’ commitment to jointly developing internal capacities, and to sharing knowledge and best practices in the spirit of SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals.
Promoting SDG 4: Inclusive and Quality Education
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lam Thanh Hien emphasized the university’s vision during the event:
“Sustainable development in education cannot be achieved without meaningful collaboration among institutions. This agreement is more than a formality—it is a joint promise to elevate educational quality for the benefit of learners and society.”
The partnership also opens new directions in the field of health sciences, a key strength of Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy, combined with LHU’s expertise in quality assurance and educational technology. Both institutions aim to implement substantive initiatives such as the transfer of output measurement technology, the development of open benchmarking data systems, and the organization of knowledge-sharing workshops. These efforts are expected to elevate the standing of Vietnamese higher education both domestically and globally.
The memorandum between LHU and DUMTP represents more than a bilateral agreement, it is a clear testament to the growing trend of “collaborating for sustainable development” in higher education. When universities work together, education becomes a powerful bridge connecting people to knowledge and to the future.

The partnership also explores synergies between LHU’s strengths in education technology and DNTUM’s expertise in health sciences, aiming to drive transformative impact in Vietnam’s higher education landscape.
