Ho Ngoc Hoang Long (Faculty of Information Technology) and Tran Minh Khoa (Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics) from LHU have excellently won two Consolation prizes at the 2nd Belt and Road International Skills Competition concluded on June 26 in China's Chongqing Municipality.

This year’s competition, themed “Skills Cooperation, Joint Development”, held from June 24 - 26 in Chongqing attracted nearly 600 skilled professionals from 61 countries and regions, including 190 contestants.
The event aims to provide a platform for talented individuals to exchange their skills and experience, as well as promote international exchange and cooperation of vocational skills and to further advance the Belt and Road Initiative.

The competition included 18 categories of which 11 categories were from the World Skills Competition.
This is the first time LHU has participated in the competition. Tran Minh Khoa and Ho Ngoc Hoang Long competed in Optoelectronic Technology and Internet of Things Installations and Debugging categories, respectively. During the competition, they demonstrated their excellence, bravery and expertise in challenging categories, affirming LHU students' position in the international arena.
