LHU in recent years has been strengthening cooperation ties with universities and colleges across the country aiming for comprehensive strategic partnership in all fields of education, scientific research and community service.
Within the framework of the cooperative events, on March 28, 2024, LHU visited Hanoi University of Pharmacy (HUP) and participated in the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between the two universities. Attending the signing ceremony, on LHU’s side, there were Dr. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector; Dr. Le Phuong Truong - Head of Office of Educational Testing and Q.A. For HUP’s side, there were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hai Nam - Rector; Associate Professor Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector; Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Manh Tuyen - Vice Rector; along with representatives of related departments.

According to the signed agreement, the two sides will cooperate in developing undergraduate and postgraduate training programs; jointly teaching collaborative programs; recognizing credits and mutually exchanging students and trainees in the fields of pharmacy, medicinal chemistry, chemistry and biotechnology. In addition, the two universities agreed to coordinate in carrying out joint research projects; conducting joint domestic and international research projects; organizing joint national and international scientific conferences and seminars in the fields of pharmacy, biology, quality assurance and accreditation as well as other areas.
Also, LHU agreed to support/consult/transfer to HUP software for building and managing data systems; designing, measuring, and evaluating expected learning outcomes to serve quality assurance and accreditation of training programs as well as training facilities.

Addressing the ceremony, Dr. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector of LHU expressed his joy in signing the cooperation agreement with HUP. The agreement marks an important milestone in enhancing the quality of training and research of both sides, concurrently opening up new opportunities for teaching staff and learners to exchange, learn and share practical experience.
