LHU celebrating the 25th anniversary of establishment (1997 - 2022)

On the morning of November 24, at the Mira Central Park Hotel, Bien Hoa city, LHU held a solemn ceremony in celebration of 25 years of establishment and development (1997 - 2022).

The representative of the Ministry of Education and Training presented the Certificate of Merit to LHU 

DSc. Lam Thanh Hien, Rector said LHU was the first university established in Dong Nai province in 1997. From 70 original officials, lecturers and employees, then it had more than 500 people, including 20 professors, associate professors, 72 PhDs, 244 masters.

Currently, the University has 10 specialized faculties, training 22 undergraduate majors, 8 master's majors and 2 doctoral degrees with more than 8,000 students and trainees. In the past 25 years, more than 40,000 students have graduated, providing high-quality human resources for Dong Nai, the southern region and the whole country.

Leaders of LHU gave gifts to show gratitude to the Founding Council

In the field of technology transfer, LHU is one of the country's leading higher education institutions in technological innovation, with many achievements in national and international science and technology competitions. For many years in a row, the University has won the championship titles at the National Robot Contests and the ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contests.

Especially, LHU has six training programs that have been certified by the AUN-QA, two training programs have been accredited according to the ABET standard. These are important prerequisites in the journey of striving to build LHU to become the leading applied university of the country by 2030.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Son Hung congratulated the entire Rectorate Board, lecturers, officials, employees and students over many generations of the University. At the same time, he acknowledged and praised the achievements that LHU has excellently achieved in 25 years of construction and development. He also wished the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministries and Departments to continue to pay attention and support LHU in training, scientific research and technology transfer.

Collectives of LHU received the Certificates of Merit from the People's Committee of Dong Nai province

On this occasion, the Ministry of Education and Training awarded Certificates of Merit to the LHU collective and 19 individuals. The People's Committee of Dong Nai province also awarded Certificates of Merit to 15 collectives and 74 individuals for their excellent achievements in the 25-year journey of establishment and development of the University.
