LHU students win Third prize at BR-VT’s Fisheries Industry Innovation Startup Contest 2023

On December 2, 2023, the Department of Science and Technology of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province in collaboration with the Department of Fisheries (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development), the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and related units organized the final round of Ba Ria -Vung Tau’s Fisheries Industry Innovation Startup Contest 2023. 

This year's contest attracted the participation of 39 projects and solutions from many businesses and universities inside and outside the province. After 2 rounds of competition, the Organizers selected 10 projects to participate in the final round. 

As a result, the Organizers awarded 01 First, 02 Second, 02 Third and 03 Consolation prizes with a total prize value of VND 115 million to winning projects and solutions.

LH-Green Energy team from the Faculty of Information Technology, LHU winning Third prize at BR-VT’s Fisheries Industry Startup Innovation Contest 2023

A group student of LH-Green Energy team including Bui Huu Thong, Bui Van Anh Hao, Pham Tran Phuc Trung, Ngo Nghia Hong Phuc from the Faculty of Information Technology excellently won Third prize worth VND 10 million with the project "Design and build multiple-application fuel cells".

Within the framework of the final round of the contest, the Department of Science and Technology of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province displayed 15 products, technology projects, and innovative solutions; connected businesses (B2B); organized a workshop on connecting technology and innovation in the seafood industry; and a Gala Dinner with the theme "Stories of the Sea".
