MoU signing ceremony between LHU and Busan ​​University of Foreign Studies

On October 20 afternoon, 2023, LHU held a MoU signing ceremony with Busan ​​University of Foreign Studies (BUFS).

Representatives from the BUFS attending the signing ceremony were Mr. Kim Tae Jin - Head of Office of International Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Danh Tan - Head of Vietnam region. From LHU, there were Hoang Tien Dung, M.A - Deputy Head of Office of International Affairs; Do Thi Thuy, M.A - Head of Department of Korean Studies and related staff.

Established in 1981, BUFS is a private university specializing in foreign languages run by Seongji Educational Institution. It is currently one of the best foreign language teaching universities in Korea. Busan is famous among the Vietnamese student community for its vibrant lifestyle, diverse culture, many high-quality multidisciplinary universities with low tuition fees and more job opportunities after graduation. BUFS currently has partnerships with more than 100 universities in 24 countries. Besides foreign language training programs, BUFS offers many different disciplines such as International Studies, International Business, IT,...

At the meeting, LHU and BUFS mutually exchanged an overview of education and training activities. Also, both universities discussed cooperation programs such as 2+2, 3+2, master's degree,... According to BUFS, students participating in these programs will receive a 50% tuition discount, freely select diverse and practical majors at BUFS, as well as study and work in Korea.
