100 athletes gather at AQUA Cup 2023 - Open LHU Student Badminton Tournament

100 badminton players gathered at the Provincial Sports Competition and Training Center Gymnasium on October 16 to compete for the AQUA Cup 2023 -  Open LHU Student Badminton Tournament.

This event aims to create opportunities for students to exchange and improve health, also to look out for talents for the Friendship Badminton Tournament held by Aqua Electrical Appliances Vietnam Co. Ltd (AQUA) in Indonesia.

The tournament is organized by LHU, sponsored by AQUA with a total prize value of up to 300 million VND.

Our desire is to create a healthy, useful playground and exchange opportunities for students who love badminton. And we are very happy to receive the registration of many students."

• The badminton tournament gathering 100 players who are students from universities, colleges, and technical schools in Dong Nai province

For the first time, the tournament brought together 100 athletes selected from 150 initially registered ones of 17 teams from 10 universities, colleges, and technical schools in the province. These players will compete in a knockout format in 4 events: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles and mixed doubles.

The awards ceremony will take place on the afternoon of October 18. The winner in the mixed doubles event will be invited to Indonesia for a friendly tournament in November. All expenses will be sponsored by AQUA.
