The Department of Chinese Language under the Faculty of Oriental Studies in collaboration with the Office of International Affairs on August 24 held a farewell ceremony for students to study abroad at Hubei University and Hua Fan University, Taiwan.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of DSc. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector; Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh, M.A - Head of Office of International Affairs cum Vice Dean of Faculty of Oriental Studies; Phan The Anh, M.A - Head of Chinese Language Department; Hoang Tien Dung, M.A - Deputy Head of Office of International Affairs, lecturers and students majoring in Chinese Language.

Reportedly, six students majoring in Chinese Language will go on a student exchange program abroad at Hubei University and Hua Fan University. This is an opportunity for them to earn practical experiences, improve language skills,... when studying in Taiwan.
The Department of Chinese Language has recently promoted and strengthened cooperation ties with universities in Taiwan and China in order to expand relations with international universities, seek study abroad scholarships,... for its students. This is also one of the most important tasks in the Department's development strategies.
At the ceremony, Nguyen Pham Xuan Huong, acted on behalf of the six students to express sincere gratitude and thanks to the University's leadership and lecturers for their attention and support. She said "This study abroad trip will be a valuable opportunity for us to draw more beautiful, higher and further dreams on the way to conquer the peak of knowledge, and become a bridge between LHU and universities, spreading the message that our lecturers have sent to us”.
