On June 27, 2023, the 2nd Lac Hong Go-Kart 2023 competition took place at 2K Racecourse in Binh Duong, attracting the participation of 18 teams from the Automotive Engineering Technology major.
Lac Hong Go-Kart, launched by the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics, is yearly organized for Automotive Engineering Technology-majored students and those who love speed and manufacture. The competition is an opportunity for students to learn together, design ideas, apply knowledge, combine theory and practice in designing vehicles.
To be qualified for the competition, teams must pass the Technical Inspection round to receive motors and seat belts sponsored by the Organizers.

Teams used 150 cm3 generator engines provided by the University to design their own Go - Kart (F1 mini) cars. They spent more than 6 months creating, testing and completing.
Participating in the Go-Kart competition helped students increase their learning spirit, improve technical skills, teamwork spirit and ability to apply their qualifications in Automotive Engineering Technology.
As a result, the Organizers selected winners as follows:
- First prize: LH - The seniors passionate about speed
- Second prize: LH - LH-PaPaSuKe
- Third prize: LH - LH-Black Brids 1
