More than 200 students approach job opportunities

On June 6, 2023, more than 200 students of Lac Hong University (LHU), Dongnai College of High Technology and Technical Economic College No. 2 attended the Human Resources Exchange Program between Students and Japanese Enterprises in Dong Nai hosted by LHU.

The event also saw the presence of Mr. Pham Van Cuong - Deputy Head of the Management Board of Dong Nai Industrial Parks - Head of the Coordination Team; Mr. Hiroaki Watanabe - Chief Representative of Ikeda Senshu Bank - Partner of the Coordination Team; Mr. Dang Quoc Nghi - Standing Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs Association; Mr. Nguyen Vu Quynh - Vice Rector of LHU and 38 members representing 18 Japanese enterprises in Dong Nai.

At the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Khanh Ha - Head of HR Department, Fujikura Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. shared her valuable knowledge and three tips to help students to score points in the eyes of employers: calmness, attitude and cleanliness, thereby, helping students gain more experience in preparing a standard CV before approaching businesses.

After the opening session, the students joined interviews with the enterprises. Some of them were confident to be interviewed in Japanese language with the recruiters.​

Students attended direct interviews with employers at the program

The year 2023 marks a 10-year milestone of the human resources development program for the manufacturing industry sponsored by JICA. In May 2019, the Department of Economy, Trade and Industry coordinated with the People's Committee of Dong Nai province to establish a Coordination Team to connect businesses and students. After 10 years of operation, the program has achieved many good results, contributing to bringing many benefits to all three parties: businesses, students and schools.
