Nguyen Le Hoang Oanh, a fourth-year student from the Korean Studies Department, Faculty of Oriental Studies, LHU on April 15 won Prospect Award at the finale of "K-Trot Festival 2023" contest held by Hong Bang International University (HIU) in cooperation with Lifeplaza magazine. The contest attracted the participation of hundreds of students from universities and colleges in Ho Chi Minh City and nearby areas.
The contest aims to tighten diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea, and create a healthy playground for students to express their talents and experience Korean music culture.
K-Trot Festival 2023 is an attractive music playground attracting the participation of 13 major universities and colleges in the South such as Ho Chi Minh City University of Education; Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Van Lang University, Ho Chi Minh City Open University, HIU, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology, University of Technology, LHU, Van Hien University, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Dong A University, Van Lang Saigon College.

Participating in the contest, Nguyen Le Hoang Oanh excellently passed the preliminary round to enter the final round. At the finale, contestant Hoang Oanh overcame many other contestants to win the Prospect Award.
Earlier, Nguyen Le Hoang Oanh won Third prize at the “K-Trot Festival 2022".
