300 blood units collected at the 48th blood donation program

LHU Youth Union - Student Association on March 23 in collaboration with Dong Nai provincial Red Cross Association and Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Center in HCM City organized the 48th blood donation program at the third campus of LHU. The 48th humanitarian blood donation received the sponsor from the C.P Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company.

This blood donation is also a practical activity in order to celebrate the 92nd anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – 2023).

Registered volunteers received blood pressure measurement, medical check from staff of Cho Ray hospital

At the program, blood donors must follow steps such as registration, health check, rapid blood tests, blood donation, taking rest and receiving certificates. Earlier at the 47th blood donation program, 360 units of blood were collected and provided to hospitals.

300 units of blood donated at the 48th blood donation program

During the day, 300 volunteers participated in the program. 300 units of blood were collected at the event.

On this occasion, LHU was honorably awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam Red Cross Society Central Executive Committee

The humanitarian blood donation is an annual program of LHU Youth Union - Student Association. It is also a meaningful occasion for teachers, staff and students to show their good deeds for the community, contributing to providing blood sources to save people's lives.
