Last night, March 24, a trial competency assessment examination was co-organized by LHU and the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM) with the participation of nearly 300 candidates. The examination was held online at https://luyenthi.dhlh.vn/. Accordingly, candidate Bui Thanh Thien achieved the highest score with the result of 109/ 120 questions.

Before that, at 7:30 p.m, the Examination Council had an online meeting with all candidates via zoom to shortly introduce the mock competency assessment examination, organizational structure, award rules; instruct the mock exam system designed by LHU and answered questions from candidates.

Nguyen Thi Kieu Diem – Head of Student Care Division and Eng. Lam Tien Loc – staff of the Admissions and Public Relations Center.
LHU has recently launched a mock competency assessment examination system and exam practice series with a total prize of VND 180 million. This mock exam aims to help candidates have the best preparation before the official exam on March 26. Accordingly, the exam is compatible with the official exam of VNUHCM with 120 questions, 10 points each. Candidates will have 150 minutes to take the multiple choice test. The Organizer will select the winner based on the priority order: highest score - fastest - most correct.

Sharing at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh said that in addition to three forms including admission based on the high school transcript, admission based on the national high school graduation exam result and direct admission, LHU uses the results of the competency assessment examination for its admission. In 2022, the admission score was 600 points. In 2023, the University will donate 1,800 scholarships worth VND 22 billion for admitted candidates.
