On January 8 afternoon, buses that take students home for Tet with their families officially moved from LHU to Central provinces and Central Highlands. These are the 0 dong Tet buses for students in the program "Going home with LHU to celebrate Tet". Dr. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh - Vice Rector and representatives of units also attended and presented gifts to students.
Earlier on December 28 morning, LHU held the "Tet bus Gala 2023" program at hall A301 for its students from 55 provinces and cities across the country. This is an annual event offering students free tickets to return home for Tet holidays. At the program, the University received sponsorship worth more than 50 million VND from businesses namely Asia Commercial Bank, Dong Nai branch; CP Livestock Joint Stock Company and VietinBank. They also gave many Tet gifts to students with difficult circumstances.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh, nearly 500 students have registered for the program. Accordingly, 350 students from Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Dak Nong, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Kon Tum provinces will be taken home by Tet buses sponsored by LHU, while students from other provinces will receive financial support to return to their hometown to celebrate Tet (due to a few registered students).
