The Chinese Language Department, Faculty of Oriental Studies, LHU on November 26 held the final round of the Got Talent Contest 2022, the 4th Chinese Consulate General Cup in HCM City.
The Got Talent Contest is a playground for students to show their special talents and aptitude, also to promote close relationships among the students of Chinese language training universities through arts and music activities, exchanges and learning. This is also one of the effective channels to seek scholarships and jobs for LHU Chinese Language majors.
Many impressive repertoires were performed at the finale
The finale saw the presence of Mr. Hao ZhiGang - Deputy Consulate General of China in HCM City; Chinese enterprises in Vietnam as sponsors and the Jury. From LHU, there were DSc. Lam Thanh Hien – Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Lam - Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Huu Nghi - Dean of Faculty of Oriental Studies; MA. Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh – Head of International Affairs Office cum Vice Dean of Faculty of Oriental Studies; leaders of faculties and offices; media agencies; guest universities: University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Van Lang University; lecturers and students of Chinese Language Department.

At the final round, the audience was impressed by eye-catching performances of 20 finalists. Their performances were diverse, imbued with Chinese culture as well as invested in props and techniques.
With responsible and fair spirit, the Jury selected winners. Accordingly, LHU students won two First, three Second, four Third and many Consoidation prizes. The two First prizes were awarded to candidates of class 19DT113 and class 22DT113. In addition, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities won one Second while Third prizes were given to Van Lang University and Nguyen Tat Thanh University.
The contest received enthusiastic participation of students at all levels, leaving an unforgettable impression on the audience as well as the contestants.
