On November 15, 2022, the Ministry of Education and Training issued the Decision No. 3696/QD-BGDDT that permits LHU to open the postgraduate major of Pharmaceutical Management, program code 8720212.
Reportedly, LHU will organize admission for the 1st master’s program in Pharmaceutical Management from April, 2023 with 50 quotas, in the form of an entrance exam for 3 subjects (Organic Chemistry; Pharmaceutical legislation and Pharmaceutical economics; English Language). The training period is 1.5 years, with an estimated tuition fee of VND 68 million/full course.
Dr. Lam Thanh Hien, Rector of LHU said "At present, the number of pharmacy management staff is not much, while the demand for this workforce is high. With available conditions, the University has developed a training program in Pharmaceutical Management at master's level, with the desire to open a new path for pharmacists to improve their professional competence, thereby contributing to the health care, serving the socio-economic development in Dong Nai, neighboring provinces and the whole country in general”.
Up to now, LHU has been recruiting and training eight master's majors including Business Administration, Finance and Banking, Accounting, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Construction Engineering, English Language and Pharmaceutical Management.
