Individuals and collectives honored for science, technology and innovation

LHU on July 4 held a solemn ceremony to summarize, honor and reward innovative solutions, science and technology awards for the academic year 2021 - 2022 and launch the initiative theme of the 2022 - 2023 academic year. 

The ceremony had the honorary attendance of DSc. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector; Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh - Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Thanh Son and Dr. Nguyen Trong Anh - Director and Deputy Director of the Center for Application and Scientific Research; leaders of faculties, offices, centers, and lecturers.

At the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Trong Anh - Deputy Director of the Center for Application and Scientific Research made a summary report of initiative solutions and research works in 2021-2022 with 40 solutions of 73 authors. Among them, 16 solutions were awarded. The eight best ones were selected to report at a workshop organized by the University. Also, LHU had 13 winning solutions at the Dong Nai Technical Innovation Contest 2021; 10 solutions winning the Program 6 "Promoting initiative and creativity in work and study 2021; 2 winning topics in the Science and Technology Communication Product Award 2021; 2 certificates of merit for instructors with students who won Eureka Prize 2021 and "Students with startup ideas" contest; 3 First prizes at Undergraduate Research and Innovation (URI); First prizes at the 2021 EPICS and 2021 CIC; one research project accepted at the provincial level; 4 authors with articles published in the most prestigious journals; 1 author who had the most articles in Lac Hong journal of science 2021 and 2 collectives honored for achievements in technology transfer activities in the academic year 2021-2022.

Speaking at the event, DSc. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector praised and acknowledged the contributions of  individuals and collectives for their outstanding achievements in science, technology and innovation in the academic year 2021 - 2022.

On this occasion, LHU praised and rewarded 75 individuals and 3 collectives including the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics and the Center for Information and Resources for their outstanding achievements in science and technology activities, innovative and creative solutions in the 2021-2022 academic year. The University also launched the 2022-2023 school year's initiative theme. More useful research topics and innovative solutions are expected to be carried out to contribute to improving the quality of teaching and learning next year.
