LHU to respond to the World Intellectual Property Day in Dong Nai

Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology on April 20 cooperated with Dong Nai Radio and Television Station to organize a talk show "Intellectual Property, Innovation and the Young Generation for a Better Future” in response to the World Intellectual Property Day (April 26).

Participating in the talk show were Mr. Tran Giang Khue - Head of Representative Office of the National Office of Intellectual Property (NOIP) in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Huynh Minh Hau - Deputy Director of Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh - Vice Rector of LHU.

The program focused on discussing and exchanging the meaning of the message "Intellectual Property, Innovation and the Young Generation for a Better Future" on the World Intellectual Property Day 2022; the interest of all levels and activities in schools in the field of intellectual property for the young generation; the tasks and solutions that Dong Nai implements to build the intellectual property system in the 4th industrial revolution must be built and operated really effectively, creating for innovation, promoting the commercialization of intellectual property, making an important contribution to the country's socio-economic development.

In addition, on April 26, the NOIP in collaboration with the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology held a seminar "Intellectual Property with the Young Generation" to celebrate the World Innovation Day (April 21) and the World Intellectual Property Day (April 26), towards the celebration of Vietnam's Science and Technology Day (May 18).

The seminar saw the presence of Mr. Nguyen Van Bay - Deputy Director of NOIP; Mr. Huynh Minh Hau - Deputy Director of Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology; Mr. Tran Giang Khue - Mr. Tran Giang Khue - Head of Representative Office of the NOIP in Ho Chi Minh City, more than 100 representatives of the Departments of Science and Technology of the Southern provinces, State management agencies, Universities, Youth Union and young businesses in Dong Nai province. On the side of LHU, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh – Vice Rector, lecturers and students.

On behalf of LHU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh presented his topic "Building intellectual property culture in universities and the young generation: situation and solutions" at the seminar. Also, there were exhibition booths of scientific and technology products from the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics; Faculty of Civil Engineering; Faculty of Information technology; Faculty of Food Science and Engineering, Faculty of Oriental Studies and Faculty of Pharmacy.
