Nearly 300 blood units collected at the 45th blood donation program

The 45th blood donation program was held on March 25 by LHU Youth Union - Student Association in cooperation with Dong Nai provincial Red Cross Association and Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Center in HCM City at the third campus of LHU. The 45th humanitarian blood donation program was also sponsored by the C.P Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company, Tam An General Hospital and Mai Phuong Computer in Bien Hoa city.

Registered volunteers received blood pressure measurement, medical check and consultation from doctors of Cho Ray hospital

At the program, blood donors must follow steps such as registration, health check, rapid blood tests, blood donation, taking rest and receiving certificates. Earlier at the 44th blood donation program, 353 units of blood were collected and provided to hospitals.

"A drop of blood to give, a life to stay” is the message of the annual blood donation program of LHU Youth Union - Student Association. It is also a meaningful occasion for teachers, staff and students to show their good deeds for the community, contributing to providing blood sources to save people's lives.

298 units of blood donated at the 45th blood donation program

Responding actively, 400 volunteers signed up for the 45th blood donation program. As a result, 298 units of blood were collected at the event.
