8 out of 12 innovative solutions won prizes at “Promote initiatives and creativity in labor and learning” contest

The Program of “Promoting initiatives and creativity in labor and learning" (Program 6) is annually co-organized by the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology, Department of Education and Training and other departments. The program 2020 continued to receive the positive attention and response of units at all levels inside the province. This year, LHU participated in the Program with 12 solutions.

LHU's solutions were bestowed merit at the award ceremony of the 20th “Promoting initiatives and creativity in labor and learning" Program 

Upon permission from the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, the Science and Technology Festival was held in December, 2020 at the Golden Palace Wedding and Convention Center by the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology. The event was broadcast live on Dong Nai Television Station. The most highlight was the exhibition area to display the farmers' creations; typical models, products and equipment in Dong Nai province's movement of Promote initiatives and creativity in labor and learning.

This year, LHU had 8 out of 12 participating solutions winning one First, one Second, three Third and three Consolation prizes. The Faculty of Mechatronics - Electronics has xcellently won First prize with the topic "Research, design and make automatic gluing and arranging machine" carried out by authors Pham Van Toan, Nguyen Vu Quynh, Ngo Thanh Binh, Tran Thanh Vang, Le Hoang Thanh, Gia Huu Vu, Le Ngoc Thien and Nguyen Trung Duc. The solution "Research, design and make tape sealing machine to protect aluminum surface" researched by Pham Van Toan, Bui Hao Quang, Le Hoang Thanh, Nguyen Cuong Phi, Hoang Duc Nguyen and Tran Van Hoan also won the Second at the contest. In addition, SmartReg -  a smart thermometer integrated disinfection, mask identification to prevent Covid, Science and technology experience and Career orientation for high school students through mini robot creation competitions, Integrating digital pedagogy in teaching and learning activities, Improving the teaching method of programming automatic devices, Designing Automotive electrical system models for teaching, Researching and designing automatic parking systems, ... have been highly appreciated at the Program.

Reportedly, the Program 6 has 544 solutions, of which 141 in the field of education and training with models and sample products. This year's Program attracted many fields such as Information Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications, Automation Engineering, Construction and Transportation, Materials, Chemicals, Energy, Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery, Natural resources and Environment, Biotechnology, Food - Chemistry Technology, Pharmacy, Education and Training, ...
