LHU successfully held the 34th LHU Science and Technology Festival

The 34th Science and Technology Festival was successfully held on January 6 at the second campus of LHU, gathering scientific research topics and products carried out by students and lecturers.

Attending the Festival were Permanent Vice Rector Lam Thanh Hien, Vice Rector Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, Vice Rector Nguyen Van Nam, Vice Rector Nguyen Vu Quynh - Scientific Research Manager, Chairwoman of Labor Union Le Thi Thu Huong, Director of Scientific Research and Application Center Nguyen Thanh Son, leaders of faculties and representatives of departments.

Speaking at the Festival, Asscoc. Prof. PhD. Nguyen Vu Quynh praised students for their creativity and spirit in scientific research. He shared "In the past year, nanosilver hand sanitizers, mouthwash, nanotech disinfection gate, smart thermometer,... made by LHU lecturers and students have been highly appreciated by the society in preventing the Covid-19 epidemic. Currently, LHU is one of the leading units with 4 solutions published in the Vietnam Creative Gold Book. Besides, there are many other valuable awards and achievements in scientific research and technology activities."

The Festival is also an opportunity for the University to honor and reward collectives and individuals  with outstanding achievements in science and technology activities last year. Thereby, it encourages lecturers and especially students to join forums as well as regional and international competitions.

Student overviewed his topic at the Economics subcommittee

This years' Festival had 22 topics of students and 55 exhibition topics of lecturers, focusing on Chemistry - Pharmacy, Engineering, Language and Economics fields.

The Festival with a new form, research topics are shown in the form of posters and displayed in the exhibition area. Applied products were displayed at the Chemistry - Pharmacy subcommittee and Technical subcommittee, attracting the attention of students and the evaluation board.
