LHU wins Third prize at the Digital Race

The Walkers team from LHU and other teams from universities in Vietnam, UK and Russia competed at the final round of the 2018-2019 Digital Race organized by FPT Corporation and Vietnam Television. The final round of the contest, under the theme “Self-driving vehicles" kicked off in Ha Noi on May 25.

The competition attracted teams from leading universities such as Lac Hong University, the VNU University of Engineering and Technology, Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, Military Technical Academy, VNU - HCM City University of Science, University of Communication and Information, Nha Trang University, Far Eastern Federal University in Russia, and University of Greenwich in the UK.

The Walkers team from LHU - one of the 8 best teams, is the only non-public university in the country to enter the final round. Winning the third prize, The Walkers team receives the bonus worth VND 10 million.

The contest, which lasts from November 2018 to May 2019, attracted more than 800 contestants from 36 universities across the country.
